On behalf of the IKI‑SEA’s team, it is my great pleasure to present to you this special issue of the Electronic Journal of Knowledge Management (ejkm) dedicated to the 12th International Conference on Intellectual Capital Knowledge Management & Organisational Learning (ICICKM 2015), hosted by the Institute for Knowledge and Innovation at Bangkok University, Bangkok on November 5‑6th, 2015. 50 research papers were presented, from speakers coming from more than 30‑ different countries. Based on the conference chairmen recommendations, the IKI‑SEA team selected, reviewed and provided improvement feedback to the 6 best selected papers included in this issue. These papers cover a wide variety of KM related research topics; KM processes, Knowledge Discovery, KM Framework, Personal KM, Communities of Practice (CoP), KM performance, while using various research paradigms and research methods. Once again, it shows that the KM field is still evolving and that more needs to be learned to better support organizations in managing and taking advantage of their intellectual assets.
